The valley is sealed off with the Cascade Variety to your northeast and from the Klamath Mountains to the northwest. While in the far north the terrain is rugged and greatly forested, turning out to be wetter on the coastal aspect and drier and barren in the upper northeast. In the south the Central Valley is closed off with the transverse ranges,
